NETLA 2 Day Shows
Youth, haltered, and open shows each day. Shows start promptly at 9 - cattle must be in place by 8am. Fair grounds are available after 1 on Friday, June 24. Health certificates required along with an exhibitor self-inspection form. Bring your own bedding - straw or shavings - and clean out your stalls before you leave. Local restaurants and hotels close. Dinner on your own Friday night, pig roast on Saturday at 5:30 - tickets must be purchased in advance. Heifer futurity on Saturday night at 7. Entry deadline June 11, 2011.

Haltered show only. Watch the WVa State Fair website for information. Hotels are located several miles away in the town of Lewisburg.
Arrival & departure times are flexible (the Friday to Monday listing in the catalog will not be enforced) but contact Dave Miller to confirm with him. 304-568-2322
Montgomery County
Youth & haltered shows only. Incredible crowds of people!!!! Truck parking is close, trailer parking is not and you may get blocked in on Saturday night by demolition derby parking. Mulch bedding provided by the fair. This is a great place to decorate the barn area with skulls, western things, and information about longhorns. It is usually hot here so bring fans if you have them. This year we are supposed to arrive on Thursday by noon but contact the superintendent if this is a major problem. We will be excused at 9pm Saturday night. Don't miss the free herdsman's breakfast Friday morning.
Frederick Fair
Youth, haltered & loose shows. Arrive Thursday by 10am & allowed to leave Saturday night at 8pm. Bedding on mulch provided by the fair for haltered cattle but bring your own straw for the loose cattle. Trailer parking not close but truck parking is. Cattle are in a large tent.
Virginia State Fair
Halter show only. Cattle to arrive Monday night after 7pm and before 10 am Tuesday. Show is 5pm Tuesday & cattle are excused after 9pm Tuesday night and must be out of the barns by 9am Wednesday morning. Cattle & show are in a large tent. Near Kings Dominion off of I-95 in Doswell, VA. This is the new state fairgrounds and is still being developed.
