The Northeast Texas Longhorn Association formed in 1986 as an affiliate of the International Texas Longhorn Association (ITLA) to represent the Texas Longhorn cattle producers in the Northeast United States. Today, NETLA members range from North Carolina to Maine to Ohio. We are the second largest ITLA affiliate. The quality of our longhorn cattle in the Northeast is second to none. NETLA is always well represented at the annual ITLA Championship Show with several members bringing home Championships each year.  Our membership continues to grow thanks to the hard work and dedication of the NETLA officers, directors & members. Our goal is to be a valuable resource to those interested in learning about Texas Longhorns. We strive to share knowledge and give support to members, whether you are new to longhorns or someone that has a history of raising longhorns.  NETLA strongly supports our youth and realizes they are our future.  NETLA offers a free youth membership to those youth that own their own cattle. The International Texas Longhorn Association (ITLA) is our governing body and a great resource for everything longhorn related from showing to beef production. The ITLA website can be found at www.itla.com and is loaded with valuable information.
